HIPPODROME

DOUBLE FEATURE BILL “Daredevil’s Reward,” a Fox Films production starring Tom Mix, which commences at the Hippodrome Theatre to-night, is a fast moving story of the Texas Rangers and their never failing slogan, “get your man.” Tom Mix, as Tom Hardy, does his very finest riding and driving and, as the ranger, proves his courage time and time again. Mix is ordered to capture a villainous gang of highwaymen, and his methods in obtaining their capture is

unique. Disguised as a wandering medicine man, Tom searches the surrounding country for traces of the gang. With his comical assistant, Slim, Tom attempts to doctor an ailing cowboy and the results are disastrous for both.

The enjoyable comedy-drama of a boxer who punched his way into society, “Is Zat So?” will also be shown, starring George O’Brien and Edmund Lowe.
