A wonderful new sport for motor-cyclists has been introduced in England in the form of hurdling. Taking off from a sloping board motor-cyclists can jump a 3ft gap and over a 3ft 6in hurdle. The impetus from the speed with which they take the running board impels the cycle through the air and over the hurdle. The sport requires a steady nerve and a deal of patience.
