mV/ X V/l \ V 1 VLiL. 1 Vi V v_- ii ’ OVERSEAS RECORDS There seems to have been intense activity in overseas motor-cycling' recently. Major J. Chater-lea and Ft. H. Hopkins, riding a 348 c.c. Chater-lea and side-car, have broken the following world's records in class 8.5.: Four hours at G 4.57 m.p.li.; live hours at 63.64, m.p.li.: six hours at 63.7*2 m.p.h.; seven hours at 61.34 m.p.li.: eight hours at 61.76 m.p.h.; 500 klms. at 63.61 m.p.h.; 500 miles at 61.79 m.p.h. Continental T.T. Results In the Austrian T.T. races, the Junior 350 c.c. event was won by Mr. Himing, riding a Zenith, and the ultra-light-weight class for 175 c.c. machines by Mr. E. Hubauer (M.T.). The Hutch T.T.. which was run on June 23. was won by Mi*. Graham Walker on a Rudge-Whitworth, at a record speed of 73.22 m.p.h. The Hungarian T.T. was won by M. Zamecsimk on a Royal Enfield 3.46 h.p. model in record time. 1-Ie also made the fastest lap.
