Mackiey, chief locomotive engineer for the North Island Railways, left for Wellington by J >ie Limited last evening. Mr. and Mrs. P. Stirling, of Sussex, England, arrived from Vancouver by the Aorangi yesterday. They will spend about six weeks in New Zealand. Mr. H. H. Sterling, general manager of the New Zealand Railways, returned to Wellington laist evening after spending the week-end in Auckland. Mr. It S.
