“SALLY IN OUR ALLEY” “Sally In Our Alley,” a story based on the beautiful old song, will be shown to-night at the Lyric Theatre, with the popular little actress Shirley Mason in the title role. In “Sally In Our Alley,” Miss Mason plays the role of a poor tenement waif who is adopted by three kindly old bachelors, who are so kind to her that when the opportunity to go to live with a wealthy aunt arrives she hesitates, and at first refuses to go, only to be persuaded by her unselfish guardians that it would be to her advantage to go . But when Sally (Shirley Mason) is told that she must put her former guardians and her sweetheart Jimmie Adams (Richard Arlen) out of her life for ever, sche balks, and leaves her aunt’s house to return to her former friends. A strong supporting programme headed by “Cradle Robbers” and including a comedy and gazette will also be shown.
