PARLIAMENT NOT PARTY
MR. W. J. JORDAN’S AIM GREENWOOD’S CORNER MEETING Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P., concluded a series of meetings of his constituents on Saturday evening in the Methodist Hall, Greenwood’s Corner. He received a further vote of confidence and approval of his representing the Dominion at the forthcom #g Empire Parliamentary Conference in Canada. The chairman of the Mount Roskill Road Board, Mr. E. F. Jones, presided over a good attendance. Mr. Jordan said that during his tour abroad he would represent the Parliament of New Zealand as a whole, and not any one particular section of it. At the conclusion of the address an elector who had lost his sight expressed his thanks to Mr. Jordan and the members of his party for the many benefits which had been conferred by the legislature on the blind of the Dominion. Mr. Jordan will leave for Wellington to-morrow, returning to Onehunga again a few days before his departure for Canada by the Aorangi on July 31
