IGNORED TRAIN WHISTLE
BUS-DRIVER FINED AT ONEHUNGA ! Henry T. Day. who drove a motorbus over the railway crossing in Captain Springs Road, Onehunga, ignoring the whistle of an approaching engine, was fined £2 and costs at the One hunga Police Court this morning. The police said that Day was the same driver who was concerned in the recent bus accident at the corner of Wheturangi Road and Green Lane and in the present case had not the emergency brake on the bus.
