CONVERSION OF CAR

YOUNG ENGLISHMAN REMANDED Charged with converting to his own use a car valued at £ 300, the property of John Joseph, a young Englishman ager 24 was remanded until July 20 at the Police Court this morning. Mr. Robert McVeagh, who appeared for -defendant, asked that the name be suppressed. Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., acceding to the request. “WINDING UP COUSIN’S CAR” John Patrick Joseph Regan was also charged with conversion to his own use of a car valued at £ 230. Regan, who had told the constable that he was w'inding-up his cousin’s car, was further charged with, being intoxicated while in charge of a motorvehicle. A remand for one week was granted, bail being allowed at £250.
