DOROTHY'S NEW HOUSE I’m quite sure you’ll enjoy this game. It doesn’t matter how many join in it, though the more the merrier, of course. First a leader is chosen, and he stands up while the other players sit a ~ r J ~n s' And the starts off by addressing one of the players He says: ‘‘Dorothy has a new house: w hat will you put in it for her*>” The player will perhaps answer, “A chair” or ‘‘a broom,” or “a stove” or anything he thinks of. Then ’ the leader asks the same question of the next player, and gets his answer. And S 9 the game goes on right round the circle.

Then the leader starts all over again at number one, and asks another question. This time he may ask any question he likes, but the player must introduce the article he mentioned in the first round in his answer. For instance, if he said “a chair,” then this time he must put chair in his answer. And it isn’t so easy when a funny question is asked. For instance, the leader might say, “Do you like fruit?” and you’ve said “Chair”; then you think, “Goodness me, whatever can I answer?” until you perhaps suddenly say, “Yes, I love it, and I eat it when I’m on a chair.” You see the idea of the game, don’t you? It will cause a lot of fun.
