PETITE ACTRESSES Movie actresses run to all types, but it is an accepted fact that most of them do not grow very tall. Barbara Kent and Marion Nixon are s£t tin tall. Loretta Young is sft tall, and weighs 951 b. Vera Reynolds is another tiny one, sft tall, and weighing 1011 b.
Gloria Swanson, Mary Pickford, and Norma Talmadge are all short, none over sft 3in. Janet
Gaynor and tin Days, Alice and Marceline, are quite petite. Sally O’Neill and Alice White hover round the sft lin mark, —— —~ is oft 3in. There are exceptions, of course. Greta Garbo, Margaret Livingstone, Jacqueline Logan, and Anna Q. Nilsson are young giants, and sft 4in or sin. Gertrudo Astor and Marie Prevost also come in this class.
