‘The Charm School '
Comedy to be Produced by St. Cuthbert Old Girls “The Charm School,” a comedy in three acts, will be presented at the concert chamber, Town Hall, on August 2 and 3, by the St. Cuthbert Old Girls’ Association. The proceeds will go in aid of the Society for the Protection of Women and Children, this year. Mrs. Frank Turner, whose wbrk in amateur theatrical circles in Auckland is well known, will produce the comedy, the full cast of which will be as follows:

Mr. Lionel Atwill, the English actor, has obtained a divorce in New York from his wife, whose stage name was Elsie Mackay. Mr. Atwill stated that while he was playing on tour his wife left their home in Brooklyn and went to live in the apartment occupied by his former friend, Max Montesole, who was named as co-respondent. Miss Mackay filed an answer denying the charges, but made no defence at the trial. She is the daughter of the late Mr. Samuel Mackay, a wealthy Australian station owner.
