Assembly Hall, at 3.30 p.m. —TUESDAY— Reception to be held by Auckland Society of Musicians, in Lyceum Clubrooms, at 8 p.m. Music by Mr. Tait’s Orchestra, and other artists. Journalism section of League of New Zealand Penwomen meets at 7.45 p.m., in Clubrooms, Unity Buildings, Queen Street. Women’s Political Association meets in Priscilla Tearooms at 7.45 p.m., when Miss Ellen Melville will give an address on “New Zealand Politics, Old and New.” WEDNESDAY— Dunedin Club monthly bridge and dance party, in clubrooms, Wyndham Stret, 8 p.m. Ninth birthday party of Auckland Lyceum Club to be celebrated in clubrooms, Short’s Buildings, 8 p.m. Dominion Motors staff dance will be held in Click Clack Cabaret. 8 p.m. Special Winter Show Ball at Dixieland, B p.m. Mother Goose Fair at Y.W.C.A. in aid of World Fellowship Quota, 2.30 p.m. til! 9.30 p.m. THURSDAY— Women’s National Reserve will hold annual reunion of mothers, wives, and widows of soldiers, in Y.W C.A.
