Mrs. W. Matthews, of Wliangaruru, is staying at the Royal Hotel. * * * Mrs. H. F. Prothero, of Remuera, lias returned from a visit to Hamilton. * * * Mrs. L. Louisson, of Epsom, has returned from a Helensville. Mrs. G. Cassidy and her daughter, of Wellington, are visiting Auckland. * * * Mr. and Mrs. D. Cattenach, of Tauranga, are staying at the Albert Hotel. * * « Mrs. I. Alexander will leave by the Aorangi next week on a visit to Sydney. * * * Miss C. Davidson, of Rotorua, is at present staying with Mrs. Palmer, of Epsom. Mrs. Lanigan, oi; Auckland, is visit - ing her daughter, Mrs. J. Corbett, of Rongotea. * * * Mr. and Mrs. F. Moore-Jones, of Auckland, are staying at the Empire Hotel in Hamilton. * * * Mrs. G. T. C. P. Swabey leaves by the Tofua to-day for Suva, where she will spend some weeks. * * * Mrs. Dodd has returned to her home in Woodville after touring the Taranaki and Auckland districts. * * * Mrs. Morel Stevenson, who has been spending a holiday in Rotorua and Auckland, has returned to Wanganui. * * * Mrs. E. H. Longsdon, wife of Lieut. - Commander Longsdon, of the Dunedin, left on a holiday visit to-day for Suva. Mr. and Mrs. R. Bell, of Dunedin, and Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Valintine, of Hamilton, are staying at the Star Hotel. * * * Mr. and Mi’s. W. F. Triggs, of Wellington, and Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Munroe, of Pukekohe, are at the Central Hotel. * * * Miss Cameron, of Whareiti, Titirangi, and Miss Newton, of Hokianga, are leaving by the Aorangi q.n a visit to Sydney and Java. * * * Mrs. Popplewell and Miss Hart, of Dunedin, who have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. E. Hart, at Cambridge, left yesterday for a visit to Rotorua. * * * At the Grand Hotel are Mrs. L. M. Leighton, of Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Pierce, of the U.S.A., and Mr. and Mrs. J. Millwood, of Wanganui; * * m Mrs. H. E. Leighton, of Lower Hutt, Miss I. Shepherd, of Birkdale, and Mr. F. J. Leighton, of Mowahanga, left for the Islands by the Tofua to-day. Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Reid, of Remuera, were passengers by the Tofua to-day for Suva, where they will remain for several weeks. They are accompanied by Miss Peggy Robertson. * * * Sir George and Lady Fenwick, of Dunedin, arrived in Auckland to-day and will stay with their daughter, Mrs. Percival James, at the vicarage. Parnell. Miss Fenwick accompanies them.
