SERVICE NEXT YEAR (United P.Aj—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian Service) Reed. 9.50 a.m. LONDON, Thurs. The Secretary for Air, Sir Samuel Hoare, states that the Anglo-Indian air service will definitely start on April 1, 1929. He hoped that eventually the service would be twice weekly. The maximum annual sub sidies for the first two years were £335,000, thereafter decreasing annually till they were £7,000 in the tenth and last year, after which the service should he self-supporting.
