(Special to THE SUN) DUNEDIN, Thursday.

The recent opinions expressed by the Primate, Archbishop Averill, on the standards of morality in the Dominion were supported to-day by the Bishop of Dunedin, Dr. I. Richards, who said the Archbishop had been greatly criticised However, he had called attention to this question which, in the opinion of the speaker, was a menace to the purity and strength of the national life. The family life of New Zealand needs strengthening, said Dr. Richards, and this can be done only if the people live up to the true ideals of marriage.
