THE “WHIPPET” CAR
TESTS SHOWN AT NEW REGENT A novel and interesting feature on the film programme at the New Regent Theatre is that showing a “Whippet” car doing 70 miles per hour in an official test at Brisbane. The “Whippet” car has been such a remarkable success that the Canadian factory has had to increase its production from 400 to 2,000 a dayl. However, the demand is now being overtaken, and the local agents, the Canadian Knight and Whippet Company, are able to announce that by next month they will be able to meet all requirements.
