LATE MR. H. J. S. ELLIS

TRIBUTE BY CHILDREN Pupils of the New Lynn School paid a tribute to the high esteem In which they held their late headmaster, Mr. H. J. S. Ellis, at his funeral service yesterday morning'. The school was closed and the children supplied flowers for making wreaths, other floral emblems being forwarded by friends. Those present at the funeral included representatives of the Town Board and the School Committee.

From the house to the hearse a guard of honour was formed by the children, and there was a large attendance at the service, which was conducted by the Rev. H. R. Jecks at the Church of at. Thomas, New Lynn.
