“THE SILENT HOUSE”
COMPANY SAILS FOR SYDNEY The extended season of “The Silent House,” a drama, wonderful, and perhaps thrillingly weird, which throughout has been favoured with the extreme popularity of Auckland _ playgoers, was concluded at His Majesty s Theatre last evening. Thus the curtain has been rung down in New Zealand upon one of the most successful and longest seasons of any drama previously staged in Auckland Mr. Maurice Moscovitch and his romnany, which consists of Mr. Nat Madison, Mr. Roger Barry, Mr. Reginald Newson. Mr. George Blunt, Miss Bertha Riccurdo, Mr. Patric Curwen, Mr. Ashton Jarry and Mr. Guy Hastings left by the Ulimaroa for Sydney this ’ morning. It is intended to stage the initial Australian production of “The Silent House” at Sydney on Sa.*urday week.
