THE Russian airman Captain Chukhnovsky has located Pro- * fessor Malmgren, Commandant Mariano, and Commandant Zappi, who left the other Italia castaways and set out toward the steamer Hobby. Chukhnovsky left the ice-breaker Krassin on a reconnoitring trip, and saw them 20 miles from the ship. He circled them, and two of the walkers energetically waved a flag. The other lay on the ground. The airman is searching for a landing-place.
