THE “TRAV-LER” RADIO

AN IDEAL PORTABLE SET That the popularity of the portable radio set is ever increasing is proved by the number of new sets which find their way each day into new homes, providing bedtime stories for the kiddies, instructive lectures and enjoyable concerts for the grown-ups. But that is not all. One can take it to the week-end house, on the launch trip, when motoring, camping, etc., and set it up and have reception whenever desired. Everyone knows how much more enjoyable outing trips are with a wireless set. The Trav-ler Portable Radio Set can be carried like a handbag. It has a powerful, selective, clear-toned receiver, and its rich, pure tone quality will surprise and delight everyone. • A further big feature is that of its simplicity of operation. Unlike most radio sets it is completely self-con-tained and has no battery or aerial wires. One simply places the loop aerial, which is contained in the cover, on top of the set, turn on the switch, and the receiver is ready to operate.
