RICHARD DIX TO-MORROW The excellent programme now showin: at the New Regent Theatre, headed by Bebe Daniels in “Feel My Pulse," will be presented for the last time this evening. In “Feel My Pulse” Bliss Daniels is shown as a. young girl who is interested in nothing else but her health. She goes to a sanitarium, of which she is ‘the owner, on a desolate island, and there finds it in the possession of a gang of bootleggers, who are‘using it as a base of operations for their work. Commencing to-morrow, the “New Regent” will present Richard Dix's latest picture, which is entitled “Sporting Goods." In this picture Dix portrays 'the role of an ambitious salesman, who is trying to sell the golfing public a new kind of golf suit, which he claims will allow any golfer who' wears one to beat his opponent, due to the many new innovations con—structed within the suit. Also he is the inventor of the suit, and although his firm is rather sceptical of how it will sell. they allow him to try it out. He gets in many mix—ups due to the fact he is operating on “his own,” without financial backing from his company. He is thrown in contact with influential parties, and meets Gertrude Olmsted, daughter of a capi—talist. with whom he immediately falls in love. 1 Owing to the great success of Cnp- ‘ min “'inston’s Sea. Lions and Diving Nymphs, who perform one of the most remarkable exhibitions ever seen in Auckland. they will continue to appear every day and evening until next Tuesday. All who have seen this act are amazed at the diving of the girls in the great tank with the lions, and also with the remarkable intelligence of the sea lions. A full supporting programme will also be presented and enjoyable music supplied by the Regent Operatic Or—chestra and Mr. Dlaurice Guttridge. The management of the New Regent announces the engagement of Bliss Florrie Le Vere. the singing and dancing star, who is the idol of London.
