MYSTERY SKELETON
IDENTITY NOT ESTABLISHED Press Association. PALMERSTON N., To-day. The identity of a skeleton found on the bank of tne Manawatu River at Awapuni in April is still a mystery. At the inquest this morning, police evidence showed that all inquiries had failed to produce anything likely to establish who deceased was. All persons reported missing from this district during recent years have been accounted for. A verdict of death from unknown causes was returned.
