SLIGHT OPERATION
DUKE OF CONNAUGHT ILL British Official Wireless RUGBY, Monday. King George’s uncle, the Duke of Connaught, who is 78 years old, has been confined to his bed for some days with nasal trouble. A slight operation was necessary to remove the obstruction. The King went to see the duke on Saturday and again yesterday, when his Majesty was accompanied by Queen Mary. Although the duke is remaining in his room he was able to sit up out of bed to-day. He is reported to be rapidly recovering and is expected to be out again shortly.
