NAUGHTY BRANCH
UNREPENTANT MORRINSVILLE FARMERS CENSURE FOR PARENT UNION (Special to THB SUN) MORRINSVILLE, Tuesday. Relations are strained between the Auckland executive and the Morri nsville branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, due to a motion of censure passed on the former by the branch at its previous monthly meeting. The motion of censure was in connection with the non-dispatch to the branch of the date of the recent conference, and the agenda paper, in time to allow discussion before the conference. The branch had also expressed itself against interference in politics. These subjects were again referred to at the Morrinsville branch’s meeting on Saturday night, when letters were read from the Auckland executive reproving the branch for "its uncalledfor and unconstitutional conduct.” Incidentally, in his letter, the provincial president, Mr. A. A. Ross, complained that triple headings were given the Morrinsville resolution by the newspapers. He suggested that the question should have been taken in committee.
The letter had little effect upon th branch, and it remains “the naught boy”—unrepentant.
