DUNEDIN, To-day. M R "**' SIDEY, member of Parliament for 27 years, informed a meeting of his committee last evening that he would not stand again. A motion was passed expressing appreciation of his services. Mr. W. B. Taverner, present Mayor of Dunedin, accepted the committee’s nomination for Dunedin South as the United Party representative.
