THE latest English files serve to confirm the campaign by the “Evening News” for adequate motor police patrols to deal with road hogs. Leading London papers, in common with the “News,” are urging the extensive appointment of motor patrols to safeguard road discipline. The moral effect of motorcycle patrols on the main traffic routes, it is urged, would more than compensate for the outlay involved in their appointment.
