SERVICE CAR OVERTURNS
TWO PASSENGERS INJURED (From Our Oxen Correspondent.) RAETIHI, Monday. A service car owned by Webb and Co. met with an accident on the Parapara Road, below T the showground, yesterday. In rounding a curve the car ran into a soft patch on the road, >vith the result that it overturned. Mr. and Mrs. T. E. McLean, passengers, and the driver were thrown out. Mr. McLean was pinned on the ground with the car, in consequence of which he received injuries, though not of a serious nature. Mr. and Mrs. McLean were taken to the Waimarino Hotel, where Dr. W. J. Feltham attended them. Mr. McLean is badly bruised and shaken, and Mrs. McLean escaped w’ith a few minor cuts and shock.
