TUDOR, REMUERA
ARGUS AND PICTURES The Argus season, which opens at the Tudor Theatre, Remuera, this evening, is already creating considerable interest. Argus speaks on all subjects that will benefit anyone, such as sickness, missing friends, law cases, examinations, change of occupation, employment, matrimony, business, lost or stolen property—in fact, there is no question under the sun that Argus cannot answer. Argus has many testimonials of his wonderful telepathic powers, and among the most treasured is a letter from the Attorney-General for Tasmania.
An interesting and enjoyable picture is also being shown, entitled “Sharpshooters,” starring Lois Moran and George O’Brien. In the story O’Brien takes the part of a happy-go-lucky American sailor, who made love to a little dancing girl in Morocco, but went away and forget about her. She followed him to New York and the final scenes show them meeting under most dramatic circumstances.
