WILKINS WELCOMED

REST AT ATLANTIC CITY (United P.A.—By Telegraph —- Copyright) NEW YOFK, Saturday. The Australian aviator-explorer, Sir George Wilkins, and his pilot, Lieut. Carl Eielson, landed at Atlantic City to-day for a week-end rest.

The civic officials were advised by telegram of their departure from New York in an airplane, and immediately rushed the Reception Committee to the airport. There the flyers were accorded a rousing welcome. The announcement that Sir George would appear in conjunction with his moving picture, “Over the Top of the World,” occasioned a heavy stampede for tickets. At Greenwich, Connecticut, the visitors attended a dance on the roof garden of the local inn. They gave interesting accounts of theii Arctic flight.
