EXTENSION OF LINES POLES TO DEEP CREEK The erection of poles for tht main North Shore power line tc the East Coast bays, terminating at Deep Creek, has been completed by workmen of the Waite* mata Electric Power Beard. As far as Brown’s Bay the wiring &. the 11,000-volt circuit of the line he* been advanced. These facts were reported to fe board to-day by Mr. F. J. H. Wilsat resident engineer, who added that th reticulation of the side roads at tht two bays was being continued. TWO MORE BAYS SUPPLIED “Power is now available at Camp* bell’s Bay and Murray’s Bay,” he sauc. Reticulation of Huapai Estate sic* roads is virtually completed, and a distribution transformer has bwr connected up. Three transformer have been installed in the Taupaki area and supply is available on all sections. The Oratia-Nihotupu exten&ot has been begun. Power purchased from the Pvhfic Works Department in the last quarte amounted to 1,854,546 units. Tbert are now 5,802 connections in the Waitemata area. 111 being added during the month.
