At Henley Regatta in the final heat of the Grand Challenge Cup Thames Rowing Club won by two lengths in 6m 565. They won last year in 7m 16s. In the Diamond Sculls, Wright, the Canadian Olympic representative, de-

feated R. T. Lee, Worcester College, Oxford, the holder, by a length, in 8m 245. Lee won last year in 9m 6s. Last year the same two oarsmen contested the final heat of the Diamond Sculls. The Canadian challenger, Joe Wright, was unlucky to lose. His left arm gave way and his boat hit the booms which line the course when he was 10yds from the finishing post.
