LITTLE V. LETTON

MEMORIES of Ike Robin and Zbyszko were revived by an incident in the big game at Carlaw Park on Saturday. Letton, fast “Pony express,” got the ball on the far side, and promptly set off at full gallop in a rousing dash up-fie!d until he ran slap-bang into his Newton vis-a-vis, Little, who immediately up-ended the flying winger. Quite by accident, Little got a real “flying mare” on to his opponent, who described a clean somersault into the air. Letton landed on his feet, and straightway plunged into the fray afresh, apparently none the worse for his experience.
