BREWERY BURNED DOWN
FIRE IN CHRISTCHURCH Press Association CHRISTCHURCH. Sunday. A fire occurred at 1.30 a.m. to-day in the St. Alban’s Brewery, owned by the St. Alban’s Brewery Company. The establishment, which is a comparatively small one. consists of a number of buildings standing close together. The outbreak started in the brewing house, which was totally destroyed, together with the plant and beer in process of maturing. The extent of the damage has not been estimated.
