WOMAN’S LOST £ll7 FOUND IN UMBRELLA

The £ll7 which Mrs. E. Sullivan, of Onehunga, was reported to have lost on Thursday, has been found. A woman friend of Mrs. Sullivan’s was returning from church yesterday morning when a heavy shower came on. She put up her umbrella and the silk purse containing the money fell out on to the footpath. Mrs. Sullivan was in the habit of carrying the purse by a loop over her arm, and on Thursday afternoon she and her friend walked home from the pictures arm-in-arm. The loop evidently broke ancl the purse fell into the umbrella.
