BARR.—On July 5, 1928, at New North Road, Mount Albert, Annie Schnauer, beloved elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. JVI. Barr; aged 28 years. BETTS—On July 5. at Stratford, Taranaki, Ellen, the beloved wife of H. Li. Betts, and sister of Mrs. T. H. Thompson, Mount Albert; aged 59 years. HOPKINS.—On July 4, 1928, at her residence, 27 Puriri Avenue, Green Lane, Martha Annie, dearly-beloved wife of Herbert Hopkins, and loved and devoted mother of Gladys Iv. E. Hopkins, also Herbert W. Hopkins, of Morrinsville, in her 72nd year. By request no mourning. Interred this day at Purewa Cemetery. WILLIAMS.—On July 3, at Thames, Mary Ellinor, beloved sister of Mrs. J. R. Sherry, Herne Bay. S. Lloyd, Huntly, and W. A. Lloyd, Havelock; aged 57.—At rest, after long suffering.
