BOXING
TO-NIGHT’S FIGHTS LIVELY DISPLAYS PROMISED The big double programme which the Northern Boxing Association will stage in the Town Hall this evening should prove popular with the public. Two 10-round bouts will be staged. Matt Hatton meeting Mark Carroll, of Wanganui, and Frank Taylor being opposed by Herbert Larsen, of Wellington. The fight between Larsen and Taylor should be as good as that between Hatton and Carroll. The amateur supports which have been arranged look good on paper. Two novice welter-weights, Hoffev and Absolum, will be the boxers in one preliminary and in the other Martin will I meet Peryer,
