Japan Gathers Huge Corps to Suppress Communism

IT is reported tliat the army is asking for 150,000 yen in 1 the next Budget, to employ gendarmes and non-commis-sioned officers, who will co-operate with the police in preventing “dangerous thoughts” or radicalism in military barracks. This is part of a nation-wide scheme for the creation of a huge corps of special officers to deal with the general suppression of Communism.
