SIR JAMES GUNSON To BE APPROACHED A private deputation will wait 05 Sir James Gttnson in Reform interest, to-morrow, to ask him to agree nomination for the Auckland Suburbs seat. Three Reform candidates are alre*c 7 in the field for this electorate, whict saw Reform vote-splitting at the general election, this contributing to the win of Mr. H. G. R. Mason, tb, present member. The three candidates so far n. nounced by Reform supporters ar, Messrs. David B. Russell. Avondale; Bertram Bunn, Kumeu, and Marsh*u Laing, New Lynn. The Suburban seat has been created by adding Birkenhead and Birkdale to the Eden electorate. Sir .lames wa* the official candidate in 1926, when Mr. Mason won the seat.
