SCOTTISH SONG RECITAL

A very enjoyable recital of Scottish songs was given by Miss Margaret McKenzie Aitken in the Papatoetoe Town Hall on Tuesday evening. Included In Miss Aitkin’s repertoire were “Loch Lomond,” “Lochnagar,” “Requiem," “Ye Banks and Braes.” and “Fairy Love Song.” A number of supporting items were contributed by Piper MacLeod, pipe Mr. F. w. Barker, elocutionary item; Miss Phylis Gardiner, dance, Sean Triubliais. Mr. Leo Whittaker acted as accompanist.
