PRISONERS SENTENCED

HOUSE-BREAKING AND THEFT Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. In the Supreme Court to-day, prisoners were sentenced as follow: George Elgar Pengelly, alias David James Williams, 18 months’ gaol for housebreaking and theft. Joseph Edward Bell, aged 51, 12 months for carnal knowledge of a girl of 13. Frank Nicholls Walker, two years, on seven charges of breaking and enter, with theft. Cyril Louis Walter Withell, two years for theft and forgery. Harold John Raymond Brunsden. probation for three years for the theft of £l7 while a postal officer.
