LOAN TURNED DOWN

NORTH SHORE ROADING LOST BY 56 VOTES Bayswater and Belmont were responsible for the turning down of the Takapuna roading and draining proposal yesterday. The poll for the £28.100 loan was lost by 56 votes. Nearly one half of the possible number, of votes were recorded, and there were 650 for and TOG against. Details of polling:
