PRIZE ESSAYS

FLAG CUP COMPETITION Phyllis Ross, a pupil of Cornwall Park School, is the winner of the Flag Cup and medal essay competition. The judges, Messrs. E. C. Cutten, T. IT. Wells and C. W. Garrard, reported to the Education Board to-day that they awarded Mr. R. G. Cox’s trophy to Phyllis Ross. The essays of Richard Aldiss (Cornwall Park) and Rona Fisher (Northcole J.H.S.) were placed second and third respectively, and they were commended by the judges.
