CHEAPER PETROL
CANTERBURY SCHEME SUPPLIES NEXT WEEK Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. The scheme by which the Canterbury Automobile Association intends to supply petrol to its members should be in operation on July 8, and the first shipment of spirit, with others to follow at regular and sufficient intervals, should arrive at Lyttelton about July 7. The spirit will be available by case and petrol pump and three petrol service stations in the city have already been prepared for supplying the needs of members of the association, and arrangements are being made for similar service at other stations.
