CAR STOLEN WHILE OWNER SANG
WHILE Mr. Arthur Ripley sang to listeners-in from IYA station, Newton, last evening, his motor-car was removed by thieves from the street outside. Mr. Ripley’s car is an Essex fiveseater, bearing the registered number 4455. It is an open touring car, fitted with Goodyear tyres and carries a spare wheel. There was no trace of the car at a late hour to-day.
