MOTORISTS PROSECUTED
BREACHES OF REGULATIONS POLICE AND CITY CASES Motorists and others who had offended against city and suburban traffic regulations were prosecuted at the Magistrate’s Court to-day. CITY CASES For dangerous driving F. T. Nicholls was fined £2 and costs. M. Millett, M. A. Peryer and P. Stubbing were each fined £1 and costs. For passing a vehicle on a bridge, L. A. Wood, C. L. Boyd, S. O. Niven, C. A. Aitkenhead and J. Tait were each fined 10s and costs. R. Colebrook was fined £1 and costs for the same offence. For failing to obey traffic officers, G. H. Percy, A. McLuckie, W. S. Miller and A. J. Sedcole were each fined £1 and costs. L. C. Luston was ordered to pay costs only. For leaving cars unattended R. Green, H. E. Hyde and E. L. Plunkett were each fined 10s and costs. For turning to the right H. Welsh, A. E. Rayner and G. Cox were fined £ 1 and costs. L. Christian, T. Bloomfield and A. Greenwood were each fined 10s and costs. A. Brooker and D. Weingott were each fined £ 1 and costs. W. A. Craig was convicted and discharged. SUBURBAN CASES For passing trams on the wrong side D. S. Clark was fined £1 and costs and F. Hill was fined 10s and costs. J. H. Liddle was fined £1 and costs and A. Rogers and T. Lea 10s and costs. G. M. Colgan and E. W. Ravenhall were fined 10s and costs, and for allowing cattle to wander T. O’Neill was fined 10s and costs. POLICE PROSECUTIONS For negligent driving G. H. Westbury was fined £ 1 10s and -’osts. W. Payne was ordered to pay costs. For parking in forbidden areas T. Mcßussell was fined £ 1 and costs. F. B. Karl, B. Smith, G. H. Edwards, G. B. Chignall and R. M. Letts were each fined 10s and costs. For driving without lights A. A. Bishop, J. W. Carr, A. Petrie, T. A. Leland, George Robbie and J. Urquhart were each fined 10s and costs. For driving without a tail fight C. Lewis and R. Jordan were fined 10s and costs. F. J. Dewdney was ordered to pay costs. For drivng with no rear light M. H. Crum, R. Carrett, J. R. Mudgway and H. R. Malcolm were fined 10s and costs. T. E. Richards and A. McGuire were ordered to pay costs. For failing to report an accident H. Millett was fined £ 1 and costs. For speeding L. M. Cole was fined £ 1 10s and costs and A. H. Shackell £ 1 and costs. For passing a stationary tramcar J P. Thomkins was fined £ 2 and «?osts. M. Edwards, L. T. Tollemache and M. J. Lyons were fined £ 1 and costs. E. R. Curd, F. Fitt and H. C. Cossor were fined 10s and costs. F. Reid and W. J. Perkinson were ordered to pay costs.
