THAMES BOWLERS

GOOD YEAR’S WORK (From Our Oven Correspondent.) THAMES, Tuesday. The extra playing hours provided by the Daylight Saving Bill materially helped the Thames Bowling Club in having a most successful past season. The annual meeting was held last Saturday, and there was a record attendance of members. The membership was 72 active and 14 honorary. The finances of the club are in a most satisfactory state.

The election of officers was as follows: —President, Mr. C. Palmer; vicepresidents, Messrs. E. J. Clendon, F. Adamson and F. McCullough; secretary, Mr. E. Newman; treasurer, Mr. D. McKay; auditor. Mr. W. Hammond; general committee, Messrs. Pratt, Shand, Whitehead, Cameron, Griffin, Smith. Millington and H. Cordes: match committee. Messrs. Smith. Cordes and Whitehead; delegates to South Auckland Centre, Messrs. Pratt. McKay and Cordes: delegates to Goldfields’ Association, Messrs. Cordes and Smith.
