ROWE GOLD CUP
TIHE next Rowe Cup contest at Alexandra Park will be further endowed with a 100-guinea gold cup. In the past a trophy has usually been donated for this popular trotting event, but the club has decided that in view of the importance of the race the time has arrived when a gold cup should be allotted in addition to the rich stake. The limit for the 1928 Rowe Cup has not been fixed, but it is generally understood that it will be tighter than the 4.36 class of last year.
