DR. GUEST LEAVES LABOUR LONDON, June 27. Dr. Leslie Haclen Guest, a former Labour member of the House of Commons, who recently visited Australia, has written to the Prime Minister, Mr. Baldwin, announcing that he has joined the Conservative Party. He says his tour of the Empire convinced him that Britain’s progress depends upon closer Empire co-operation, and he believes that the Conservative Party is best fitted to cope with this task.
