IN FANCY DRESS CHILDREN’S DANCE In aid of funds for the Waiuku School a children’s plain and fancy dress ball was held in the Public Hall on Friday evening. Tli© grand march was held shortly before 8 p.m. and the floor space was so crowded with children that the carrying out of the march was an extremely difficult task. The receipts at the door amounted to about £24 and as there was a large number of tickets sold it is estimated that well over £3O will be cleared.
