FIVE-ROOMED HOUSE BURNED

NO WATER AVAILABLE Press Association MASTERTON, Monday. A five-roomed house at Mauriceville West, owned and occupied by Jt. Jensen, was destroyed by fire at about eleven o’clock this morning. Two girls, aged 15 and 14 years, were at home at the time, and discovered the outbreak at the rear of the house. They gave the alarm to neighbours, who saved a large portion of the contents. However, as no water was available, the house was burned to ’he ground.
